About The Film:
The first phase of shooting "Mr. Deeds" took place in Los Angeles, the second in New York, and the last in Connecticut. Production lasted the entire spring and summer of 2001. Steve Brill is once again the director after co-writing the script with Sandler and Herlihy. Adam plays Longfellow Deeds, a small town guy who inherits 40 billion dollars. Winona Ryder is Babe Bennett, a reporter for a tabloid TV show who goes undercover to get the story on Deeds. Jon Turturro, Peter Gallagher, and Steve Buscemi co-star.
